Zelda Relived has been an idea of mine for a long time. When I was 9 or 10 I wanted to build a big Hyrule castle with the help of my dad in our back yard on our Ranch so I could “play Legend of Zelda” and live in the castle and go on adventures in our forest. My biggest goal for the longest time was to bring Link and his world of Hyrule to life. I wanted to re enact scenes through film and photos. Then I started making costumes in 2003 and wanted to take it a step further – recreating scenes, and moments from our beloved Zelda games.
I wanted the opportunity to blend my love for Zelda, Cosplay, and my Studies in Game Design so I created Zelda Relived, something that has never been done before. I wanted to take Zelda cosplay to a whole new level. Zelda Relived was then made as a project where I can compile my imagination, ideas, skills and recreations. Reliving Zelda since the first game.
The poster series is a project I’m working on. The focus of it is to make it look like a movie poster or “bring it to life”. I have a lot of ideas already put down and can’t wait to work on. Most of it, if not all, is about recreating the worlds and bringing my favorite fandoms to the big screen.
